Hi! We’re a group of 5 students in our 4th year of Mechatronics Engineering working together for our capstone project. Here’s a brief introduction of everyone on the team:
Ameena Abdulaziz: I’m specializing in electrical engineering and electronics. My experience is working with electronics on medical devices, EVs and lidar cameras. I have experience working with mechanical design and machining as well. I am excited to be creating a custom electronics system with integrated sensors.
Elin Liu: I’m interested in software and controls. I’ve had previous experience working in hardware and embedded systems. My most recent work experience involved higher-level software programming and image processing, which I hope to be able to use during this project.
Gabriel Luo: I’m interested in working on the mechanical design and integration aspects. I’ve worked with SolidWorks and OnShape for CAD, and have experience using a variety of machining tools. I’ve also worked on integrating sensors and actuators for an electromechanical fixture, all controlled through ROS. I hope to bring in my technical experience and learn more about the software aspects of robotics.
